- Interpreting and understanding design concepts, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.
- Creating detailed drawings, assembly layouts, and diagrams based on design inputs.
- Applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure accurate and consistent manufacturing.
- Collaborating with engineers and designers to resolve design issues and optimize manufacturability.
- Selecting appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes to meet design requirements.
- Generating bills of materials (BOM) and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Reviewing and updating drawings based on feedback from the manufacturing team or quality control inspections.
- Providing technical support and clarification to the manufacturing team during production.
- Proficiency in using AUTOCAD AND SOLID WORKS software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with the production team and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- High school, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
