Job Overview
We’re looking for a Visual Merchandising Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) to join TOP TOY Malaysia, a creative and trend-driven retail brand under a leading China-based group.

In this role, you’ll bring the TOP TOY brand to life through engaging store displays, innovative visual concepts, and inspiring customer experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with our Headquarters in China and the local operation and marketing teams to ensure every store reflects our unique brand identity and storytelling.

🎨 Key Responsibilities
🧩 1. Visual Merchandising Planning & Execution
-Develop and execute seasonal visual merchandising concepts following HQ direction.

-Design and implement window displays, in-store layouts, and product presentations that elevate the shopping experience.

-Adapt global VM guidelines to suit the Malaysian market while maintaining brand consistency.

🎉 2. Campaign & Display Management
-Coordinate and execute visual setups for store openings, campaigns, and product launches.

-Prepare planograms, styling guides, and visual briefs for store teams.

-Collaborate with Marketing and Operation teams to ensure visuals align with product themes and promotions.

👀 3. Store Visits & Performance Review
-Conduct regular store visits to audit and maintain visual standards.

-Analyze sales and inventory data to improve product placement and visual performance.

-Prepare VM reports with photos and feedback for HQ and management.

🤝 4. Collaboration with HQ & Regional Teams
-Communicate with HQ (in Mandarin) regarding visual directives, approvals, and campaign updates.

-Share insights and market feedback to help localize global concepts effectively.

-Coordinate with suppliers for display materials, fixtures, and visual props.

🔍 5. Trend Research & Innovation
-Stay updated on visual merchandising and retail trends, especially within lifestyle and collectible categories.

-Monitor competitors’ displays and propose creative new ideas to enhance in-store experiences.

🧠 6. Training & Team Support
-Provide training and visual setup guidance to store staff.

-Ensure store teams understand and maintain display standards consistently.



✅ Job Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.

-Minimum 2–5 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or toy retail environments.

-Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) & English— essential for communication with Headquarters in China.

-Solid understanding of retail space planning and visual storytelling principles.

-Willing to travel frequently to retail stores nationwide.
