Responsibilities
-Assist the Purchasing Manager in executing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
-Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, delivery lead times, and product specifications.
-Maintain and update the supplier database, including contact details, price lists, and contract terms.
-Process confirmations, modifications, and cancellations of purchase orders, and promptly notify relevant departments.
-Track order status and resolve issues such as delivery delays, quality problems, or price discrepancies.
-Prepare purchasing reports, analyze procurement costs and efficiency, and propose improvement suggestions.
-Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, participate in negotiations to achieve more favourable purchasing terms.
-Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.

Job Requirements
-Hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
-Possess good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
-Knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage/preferred.
-Possess a basic understanding of budgeting and cost control.
-Able to independently process purchase orders and communicate effectively with suppliers.
-Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and a strong team spirit.
-Familiarity with project planning and risk management processes is an advantage/preferred
